BE! #3: Yesterday's Realisation = Google Glass, an iBe!

I have always been a fan of Science. It makes me understand and appreciate Reality and Life from the humblest perspective. It is my Candle in the Dark.

Technology is gift. It is a product of the mind. It consequently transforms culture and its people from Lifestyles to Medical advancements. I read somewhere that technology is like hammer. It can be really useful but also be destructive. It all lies on the purpose of that person. I generally benefit from it and I try to take advantage of it whenever possible and needed.

I like watching films and my thought of isolating just the Video Subject from the others around it would be perfect for my experience because other visual things in my line of sight are a distraction. This kind of technology has been imagined apparently since the 1860s. In the 1960's, developers have introduced a visual flight simulator for the Air Force. In the 1980's, Game Developers came up with interactive Virtual Gaming Systems for consumers.

Ever since I heard about Smart Glasses, I started doing my research. I searched in Google and Youtube all the articles that are related to Virtual, Augmented Reality and Video Eyewear. Stumbled upon Vuzix and its interesting products. Quite excited I was, I realized I wanted to have one. Months after, in the news I hear Google was launching a new product. They have their own version.

Initially I would use it for my own to record images and videos to go with my Writing and Experiments. I believe it would help me in my documentation experience as I will not have to use my hands in recording important moments as opposed to just using a Smart Phone or a Camera. It seems unique, futuristic and powerful. It will be a great privilege for people to own such device.

Here are the earliest written thoughts and Rhythm ideas for my song, "Google Glass".

BE! #2

For the second entry, I wanted to post my 1st ever Radio Show I uploaded on Mixcloud entitled: "Alternation in Vocals: Male-Female". It is 31 minutes and 28 seconds in length. I featured mostly some of my favorite Ballads in this pilot episode. For everyone's useful information I will be indicating the Playlist in the Transcription:

"It's a fine afternoon and I always feel like listening to some good Music. Here are some of my favorite tunes I want to post as a playlist idea for anyone who is in the same mood as me right now.

I'd like to start off with something happy. It's a tune recorded by Boyd Raeburn & His Orchestra in 1946. Vocal play by David Allyn. Composition and Arrangement by George Handy.

And now all you need to do is just Sit back, relax. Grab a coffee or probably some wine. Enjoy the show.
'I Don't Care Who Knows It' plays..

Moving on now with my radio proper program called:
Alternation in Vocals: Male-Female-Male-Female
Here is Ann Richards with the Stan Kenton Orchestra, singing 'Speak Low'

Here is a beautiful melody, sung by an original member of the Four Freshmen. He plays trumpet and sings mainly Baritone. This is Hal Kratzsch with 'Stella By Starlight'

A 1936 song composed by Richard Rodgers, with lyrics by  Lorenz Hart. Here is June Christy with 'There's A Small Hotel'

A Hi-fidelity 1950's recording of a 1941 Standard written by Henry Nemo. A personal favorite of the next male singer I'm going to feature. Beautiful arrangement by Pete Rugolo, This is Ken Errair!
'Don't Take Your Love From Me' plays..

Bobby Troup wrote many great Standards such as of course, 'Route 66' recorded by a number of artists. And now here is Bobby Troup's wife singing 'The Good Life'

A rare track now which was released after the death of this next male singer. He played guitar in this recording. His name is Don Barbour.
'Where Are You' plays..

As an intermission breather, I'd like to feature now a personal recording of mine from November, last year. Music by Henry Mancini: 'Moon River'

Going back now to the professional recordings. Here is the Queen of Swing Ella Fitzgerald with a Cole Porter composition, 'What Is This Thing Called Love'

And that is all folks! Thank you for listening to my program, The Arranger's Corner. I'll see you in the future on my next Radio Mix. This is Bubblebasedboy saying..
'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye' plays.. "

Welcome to Bubble Based Boy's Blog: The Arranger's Corner

As it seems in my folder where I digitally saved all my notes containing ideas and content for the launch of this own blog of mine, it has been long over due. I apparently created "Bubble Based Boy's Wordpress Site" folder with the first file (.rtf) named "02Nov12 Folder Created Today at 17.41". But now, finally the Time has come.

To go with this Introduction, to keep things in place, I wanted to state why I bothered to have such a kind of Web Personal Journal. My Main Purpose/s of Entry which I prepared in my Mac's Pages form on 24Oct13 include:

a. To keep track of all my Written Entries/Seeds where most of my new ideas will be coming from and hopefully immortally digitized, in effect will help in organization
b. To come up with new ideas which I am initially sharing as to give out to anyone interested who can develop whether it be a musical idea, a general concept, a correction point out or just a plain reaction thought, or anything from which I know I will benefit
c. To experience this Blogging Thing which seems to me like a useful and fun personal exercise

Some important terms, abbreviations and definitions I came up with that readers will encounter along the way:

NTD! = New Term & Definition
BE! = Blogspot Entry Idea!
iBe! = Initial Basis for Experiment/Exercise
mpe! = Main Purpose of Entry
RT! = Reaction Thought, Remembered Thought, Reflection Thought
EHRT! = Enterprise Horn Rhythm Theme!
WR! = Writing on Red (as in Traffic Stop Light)
WP! = Writing while Parked
WW! = Writing while Waiting
WLR! = Writing in the Living Room
WBL! = Writing in the Bubble Laboratory

Having mentioned all these I'd like to welcome my guests and readers to Bubble Based Boy's Blog, currently also known as: The Arranger's Corner!

Thanks for visiting. Feel free to explore. Don't hesitate to leave me a message for your comments and insights.
