Blog Entry Number Fifteen: Mixcloud Entry #2: "Yesterday was Here"

Transcript:

-Introduction 1: Excerpt from Star Trek: The Next Generation's "All Good Things..."

(Doctor's office)
PICARD: It happened again.
CRUSHER: A time shift?
PICARD: Yes.
RIKER: What happened?
PICARD: It's still a little vague, but I can remember more this time.It seems that every time I shift periods, I can retain more memory. At first, it appeared that I was in the future, years from now, and then I was in the past just before our first mission.
RIKER: What is it?
CRUSHER: I just scanned his temporal lobe and compared it to the scan I performed just a few minutes before. There's a thirteen percent increase in the acetylcholine of the hippocampus. Within a matter of minutes, you have accumulated over two days worth of memories.

BUBBLE BASED BOY:
A pleasant evening to you all listeners/music lovers out there. It's great to be here with you again. I'm your host, Bubble Based Boy. Welcome to the NOW! Welcome to my show: The Arranger's Corner!

It was December 1st, 2013, when I last uploaded a playlist idea that I presented in this Mixcloud Radio Show and my blog. The title of that entry was "Alternation in Vocals: Male-Female". Basically, the track listing was designed based on that pattern. The songs were mostly from the Big Band/Swing/Be-Bop Era. Many would classify them as Standards.

Staying in the same era (with an exception), featuring the same styles, I'd like to carry on now with something I prepared a few months after, which was in August 2014. But this time, you won't be hearing any words. Except for one track, this set contains purely Instrumental Music. You'll be hearing recordings, arrangements and compositions by Benny Carter, Raymond Scott, Sauter-Finegan, Johnny Richards, Dave Brubeck and even Brian Wilson, to name some.

For a change, you won't be hearing myself talk in between songs unlike the previous. So, I'd like to tell you that you can just find the titles and names of the artists in this compilation in the tracklist section or of course, you can always check in the blogsite at bubblebasedboy.blogspot.com

I suggest you get your favourite drink. Sit back, put your feet up, wear your favourite blindfold, try to relax, because the program is about to begin. Presenting.. Mixcloud Entry #2: "Yesterday was Here"
